By the end of the workshop learners will be able to describe common cause of conflict, understand the difference between verbal and non-verbal forms of ‘communication’, how communication can break down, describe patterns of behaviour they may encounter within the workplace, different warning and danger signs of impending conflict, identify 3 ‘communication models’ that can assist conflict resolution, identify key elements of personal safety and explain the use of ‘reasonable force’
